About Opalia Flowers

Founded in 2006, Opalia Flowers has been providing Boerum Hill and all of Brooklyn the best in fresh flowers for over a decade. It has been an honor to provide flowers to you — for your celebrations of lives united, lives birthed, and lives mourned; for your first home; your first dance; your sick friends, loved ones, and pets; for brightening your days; for the beginnings of new relationships and new challenges.

In June 2018, Opalia Flowers shifted from a full retail storefront to a one-woman show, now operating from a studio in Clinton Hill. I continue to source the best flowers from around the world, and I prepare each and every order myself. I am happy to continue to do so.

All orders are for delivery only and must be placed via our website with 24-hours notice. We deliver Wednesday through Saturday throughout New York City.

As the shop hours are reduced and no longer serves walk-in retail customers, my on-hand supply is also very limited. Please note that even though you may select a design from our collection for reference, all orders will be filled at the designer’s discretion (or you may simply choose “Designer’s Choice”).

Do you offer same-day flower delivery in Brooklyn?
We do not offer same-day delivery, but we do offer next-day delivery.
How much does flower delivery cost in Brooklyn?

Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues in Brooklyn?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across Brooklyn. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of flower delivery add-ons to personalize your arrangement such as small gifts or keepsakes. You’ll see available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Trim the stems, place them in fresh water, and keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life.
